AUSTRALIAN
SAFARIS EUROPE Pty. Ltd. is proud to present a discovery wine tour
of the major production areas of Australia : Margaret River, Barossa
Valley, Mc Larren Vale, Coonawarra, Yarra and Hunter Valleys.
A magnificent first class journey of 17 days from Europe and return.
It includes the visit to 4 major cities
: Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney.
The participation whenever possible in local Wine Festivals or Exhibitions.
The meetings with local wine producers and of course the tasting
and sampling of new and old wines.
Hotels are carefully selected within the production
areas in order to have the best possible service, food and wine
choice in top restaurants, first class accommodation, calm surroundings,
preferably close to a golf course...nothing but the best !
Sydney is an exception, we stay in the Rocks area at the Holiday
Inn Old Sydney, wich is very handy to visit the city and very pleasant
accommodation.
When in Melbourne, we visit the city of Ballarat
which takes us back 150 years in the gold rush days.
We spend the night at Sovereign Hill and attend the fabulous sight
and sound show of "Blood on the Southern Cross".
We discover Perth the beautiful Western Australian
city with its wide beaches and ever shinning sun.
We want to know about Chardonnays, Sémillons,
Marsannes, Cabernet Sauvignons and Shiraz, Grenaches and Mourvèdres.
Whether you are a wine connoisseur or simply keen
to learn more about wine and especially Australian wines, come and
discover the enjoyment and the pleasure of it. Australian wines
will make your stay something to remember for ever.
March to November, good time to go to Australia,
March of course is the vintage season with Festivals everywhere.
Part of the journey within Australia is done flying and part is
done driving in a bus giving us the opportunity to enjoy the country
side.
We will visit some National Parks and have plenty of time to enjoy
kangaroos and koalas.
Don't let this opportunity go by, this is different and very good
value for price.
It is possible to include this Wine Discovery
Tour with Golfing Holiday in Australia.
