These
air rallies are presented as follows :
Travel from Europe to Australia and return with an international airline
company.
Visit to the cities and to all the major points of interest.
Rental of a single engine aircraft in perfect condition : Cessna -
Piper - Mooney sponsored by the Royal Aero Club of the main cities.
Full board in the best available hotels or motels of the circuit.
The amount invoiced covers the following
items :
International return air fares from Europe to Australia.
National air faires within Australia.
Airport transfers and landing taxes.
Visits to the cities and points of interest by bus or appropriate
means.
4 stars hotels and motels with full board (except for wine and alcohol
consumptions)
Aircraft rental including avgas and landing taxes.
Flight test (2 hours maximum) and license validations.
The following expenses are not covered : wines and
alcohols, laundries, telephones and faxes.
An Australian instructor is coming along to assist
with aircraft check-ups, day to day briefings, weather checks and
give everyone all the necessary informations relevant to specific
flight conditions. We have already several successful years of experience
in this field.
All pilots will recieve the full maps'package necessary
for the flights invoiced to them with a set price.
The aircrafts are all 4 seaters, they can be rented
by one pilot only or several sharing the costs.
Passengers are accepted within the limitations of aircraft requirements
with a maximum luggage weight of 20 kilos per person.
All pilots participating must have a minimum of
300 hours in their log book, including 100 hours of cross-country
flying time. However we can assist if a pilot does not quite reach
this amount, the Australian instructor will be the final juge.
We
propose several cicuits depending on the time of the year (March-April
or July-August or November-December).
All are of great interest, from 3000 to 5000 nautical miles ( 2 or
3 weeks from Europe) - Between 30 to 30 hours of Flying time.

It
is a VFR flight.
Flying VFR in Australia is relatively easy. The country is huge but
offers numerous small airfields and private landing strips accessible
to all. It is advised to bring head-sets
for everyone and a GPS per aircraft (data base Pacific).
This equipment can be hired locally at a cost.
Each pilot must have the minimum knowledge required
for the chosen aircraft. The Australian instructor may decide to
give additional technical tuition, any test Flight over the 2 hours
included in the price will be charged to the pilot.
The number of aircrafts is 15 maximum with a total of 40 people.
The past experience shows that the number between 5 and 10 aircrafts
are registred per circuit with a maximum of 20 persons.
It is possible for everyone to purchase directly
his or her own international ticket and meet with us in Australia.
The amount of a normal economy class ticket will then be deducted
from the total figure invoiced.
